Photon Bridge wins Gerard & Anton Award 2026

Photon Bridge is proud to announce that we have received the Gerard & Anton Award 2026, recognizing the most promising technology companies in the Brainport region.

The award acknowledges not only our technological innovation, but also our mission to solve one of photonics' most important challenges: making high-performance photonic laser technology manufacturable at the scale required for next-generation AI infrastructure.

Our heterogeneous integration platform combines the performance of advanced semiconductor lasers with a manufacturing approach designed for high-volume production. By simplifying optical assembly while maintaining world-class performance, we are helping remove one of the final barriers to large-scale adoption of photonic interconnects for AI datacenters.

It also reflects the strength of the Dutch deep-tech ecosystem. We are grateful for the support of the Brainport Eindhoven ecosystem, the Eindhoven University of Technology, and organizations such as PhotonDelta, whose collaboration helps bridge the gap between breakthrough research and industrial reality.

While this award marks an important milestone, our journey is only just beginning. Together with our manufacturing and packaging partners, we are advancing toward volume production and preparing the next generation of scalable laser sources for the rapidly growing AI infrastructure market.
